READ THE GUIDE

From HX Edit to TouchRig.

Build the preset on your computer, send its controller to the app, then connect your device to your Helix or HX hardware.

    Export your preset

    In HX Edit, select the preset you want to control and export it to your computer as an .hlx file.

    Drop it into TouchRig

    Drag the .hlx file into the browser. TouchRig reads the effects and safely chooses available MIDI assignments.

    Choose your controls

    Review the selected switches and parameters, make any changes you want, then choose Create Controller Preset.

    Import the updated preset

    Download the modified .hlx file and import it into HX Edit. Its name ends in - TR, so you can identify the TouchRig version.

    Scan with the app

    Open TouchRig, go to My Presets, tap +, then choose Scan QR Code. Scan the code on the website and the matching controller will save to the app.

  6. 06

    Connect and play

    Connect your iPhone or iPad to your Helix or HX device with USB or a compatible wireless MIDI adapter. Switch to the new - TR preset, open its controller in TouchRig, and play.
