Quick troubleshooting

The QR transfer expired

Transfers expire after one hour. Return to the converter, create a new controller transfer, and scan the new code. You can also download the .touchrig file and import it through Files or AirDrop.

The app does not see my MIDI device

Confirm the device is powered, the cable or adapter supports data, and any required powered hub is connected. Open TouchRig’s Connect screen and select the intended MIDI destination. For Bluetooth MIDI, pair the device from the Bluetooth MIDI browser inside TouchRig.

A control does not change the expected parameter

Make sure the modified preset whose name ends in - TR is loaded on your HX hardware and the matching controller is open in TouchRig. Check that TouchRig and the hardware use the same MIDI channel.

Cloud presets are not appearing

Confirm that you signed into the website and app with the same Apple or Google account, then check your internet connection. Local presets remain available without an account.

Account and privacy

Accounts are optional. To permanently delete your account and cloud-synced presets, open the app and choose Settings → Account → Delete Account. Read the Privacy Policy for details or email us if you need assistance.

Compatibility

TouchRig’s converter is designed for compatible HX Stomp and HX Stomp XL preset files. Hardware and software compatibility can vary with firmware, HX Edit versions, adapters, and MIDI interfaces. Test a generated preset at a safe volume before relying on it in a live performance.
